Bureau of Land Management: 

Project Archaeology

BLM manages an estimated five million prehistoric and historic properties, many situated in remote locations and vulnerable to vandalism and destruction. BLM cannot manage these resources effectively without the support of the American people. Through Project Archaeology, BLM builds awareness of cultural resources and teaches young people about their importance and fragility.
