Flints and Stones and the National Curriculum

The importance of learning about the hunter-gatherer way of life should not be underestimated. For 99% of their time on earth, humans have survived by hunting and gathering and in some parts of the world, people still live in this way. Settled, agrarian communities, by contrast, are a comparatively recent phenomenon. Flints and Stones gives teachers a chance to cover several subject areas outlined in the National Curriculum.
