<<Back to multicast video page. Time Zone Schedule Calculator Calculating your time of day in relation
to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) requires making an addition or subtraction
to GMT based on your Time Zone, as listed in the table below. For
example, if you want to view a program scheduled at 03:00 GMT and
you live in Hawaii (listed in the table as "-10"), you would
subtract 10 hours, yielding 17:00 (or 5:00 PM) local time the previous
day. If you want to view the same program in Beijing (listed as "+8"),
you would add 8 hours, yielding 11:00 (or 11:00 AM) on the same day.
These are all standard times, not daylight savings or summer times.
To adjust for daylight savings time, move the clock forward one hour
in the spring and back again in the fall. For example, 19:00 GMT normally
is 11:00 in Los Angeles (Pacific Standard Time), but in the summer
it is 12:00 (Pacific Daylight Time).
