ALI presents ArchaeologyFest Film Series: Best of 2011!

Archaeological Legacy Institute is pleased to present the best films from the 2011 edition of The Archaeology Channel International Film and Video Festival. Top-rated by the Festival jury and audience, these films are organized into four evening programs (two Fridays and two Saturdays), beginning Friday, February 3, 2012, in Bend, Oregon. This series is a benefit for TAC Festival, an annual spring event in downtown Eugene and the only film competition for its genre in the Western Hemisphere.

Movie programs begin at 7:30 pm on dates indicated and last approximately two hours. All programs will screen in room 155 of the Boyle Education Center at COCC, 2600 NW College Way in Bend. Doors open at 7:00 pm, and tickets are $6.00 at the door. All proceeds go to support TAC Festival (next edition: May 8-12, 2012, in the The Shedd Institute Recital Hall in downtown Eugene).

Samucha: The Last Journey of a Shepherd (Germany/France) 52 min. (Special Mention by Jury for the Best Depiction of Cultural Heritage, Honorable Mention by jury in Best Film Competition, Narration and Music. Honorable Mention in Audience Favorite Competition.)
