A Video Production About Your Site!

Are you a field archaeologist interested in public education? Do you or does your institution want the public and educators to share in the excitement and value of a project you are conducting? If so, please consider this proposal.

There is a new way to have your field project promoted on The Archaeology Channel. We are pleased to announce the formation of a new enterprise by our production partner, David Bogan. He has recently expanded the services of Green Mountain Documentary to create ArchaeoVideo: Media Production for Archaeologists.

For a limited time as well as within a specific time frame, David will produce an exclusive multimedia feature of your dig site for programming on TAC called an ArchaeoVideo Field Communiquè.

David is offering the production of a Field Communiquè at a substantially reduced rate IF the field project you are directing falls within the two-week period of August 13-24, and IF he can secure your support for sharing his travel expenses with other researchers who also participate. The separate fee for shooting and editing your Field Communiquè is $550 (a 50% discount of his standard rates) with 10% donated to TAC. He would plan on visiting your site for two days, documenting all aspects of the field activities as well as recording video and audio interviews with you, your fellow researchers, and members of your volunteer/student team.

You can view his first Field Communiquè, The Popham Colony, now playing on TAC. Four others are scheduled to follow this one from location production work he completed last summer.

As the subject of a Field Communiquè, your project will reach large numbers of people throughout the world. Currently (July 2001), individual monthly visitors to TAC number more than 5,000 and this number is growing rapidly. Recently, About.com referred to TAC as "The Internet as it was meant to be." You can make a significant impact as part of this non-profit public education effort.

Please visit David's web site www.archaeovideo.com for more details about all of his media production services or write him at jdb@archaeovideo.com to discuss details of the ArchaeoVideo Field Communiquè offer.
