(1) The Idaho National Laboratory near Pocatello includes two bombing ranges used in World War Two to train bomber pilots. Recently, the archaeologists there found a B-24 crash site with a story that affects people living today. (2) Verona became a Roman colony in the first century BC. Its development included impressive municipal buildings in the city center. Over the centuries, the face of Verona changed dramatically and much of the Roman city was forgotten. One of the main sites there, the Capitolium, was rediscovered only recently.
