(1) The 2017 expedition to Nikumaroro in search of Amelia Earhart was a truly memorable experience for ALI Director Rick Pettigrew. (2) The abbey of St. Michel de Cuxa in the border region of France and Spain came into being over 1000 years ago, when neither France nor Spain existed as we know them. In this film, researchers digitize the building and scientists radar-image the subsoil. Historians suggest alternative arrangements for sculpted fragments. Now they can recreate on screen the successive abbeys predating the one standing today.
