Location: Tauste, Spain        Length: 15 min.

In the Spanish town of Tauste, excavators uncovered a large Moorish cemetery dating from the 8th to the 11th Century. Twenty-two university students with different specialties and from different places of Spain worked in Tauste for one month and achieved spectacular results. In the area explored , they found 24 graves with human remains in different states of conservation, all of the Islamic typologies with the bodies on the right side and oriented towards Mecca. Now we know that early Tauste was much larger and more complex than formerly thought.
