This film features the life of Lacey V. Murrow, who was the Director of Highways for the State of Washington from 1933 to 1940, throughout most of the Depression years. The brother of broadcaster Edward R. Murrow, Lacey Murrow is best known for his accomplishment of building the historic Lake Washington Floating Bridge.
