Organization: State University at Binghamton Community Archaeology Program
Description: Each summer, The Public Archaeology Facility's Community Archaeology Program (CAP) offers a week-long program focused on archaeology for kids entering Grades 5 and 6. The program is taught by professional archaeologists from Public Archaeology Facility at Binghamton University. Students will learn about the science of archaeology through hands-on, interactive classroom projects, laboratory tours, outdoor activities, and visits to a local archaeological site.
