In December 2013, ALI Executive Director Rick Pettigrew served as a juror in Tehran for the Cinema Verite Iran International Documentary Film Festival. Prior to this, ALI for years had hosted Iranian films submitted to its annual competition, The Archaeology Channel International Film and Video Festival. Rick’s task in Tehran was to be a juror for the 7th annual Cinema Verite Iran International Documentary Film Festival. Rick was the first American to be invited to Cinema Verite as juror.
